OUR STORY
Michael says...
I first noticed Pauline when I was standing outside of Tsunami’s with my friend
James. I thought to myself, “Who’s the cute girl with the long legs?” as she
passed me on the way to the entrance. Once inside and upon realizing that she
was actually there to meet the same group of friends I was, I introduced myself
to her, hoping she would
take notice of me.
then Pauline says...
I first noticed “Green Shirt” a few hours into the night at Zippy’s. Across the
aisle from me, there was a guy who had changed into a green t-shirt, which
caught my attention because green is one of my favorite colors. I thought to
myself, “That guy changed his shirt to go to Zippy’s?” At that point, Michael
looked up so I smiled politely at him and went back to my chili fries.
then Michael...
I caught Pauline looking at me with a half smile on her face at Zippy’s. Thinking
I made quite the favorable impression on her, I tracked her down and sent her a
message on Facebook the next day asking how the rest of her night went.
and Pauline...
I received a message from a Michael Shibata and almost didn’t open it because I
had no idea who that was. Not wanting to have the message appear as ‘Read’ in
case I really didn’t know this person, I wracked my brain for a few minutes
before realizing it was the Zippy’s Green Shirt guy. We exchanged a few
messages, then eventually phone numbers and got to talking.
From there, Michael and Pauline went on a few dates, and the rest is history.
They have been dating for six years now and can’t wait to tie the knot in front of
their friends and family. Oh, and Pauline won’t let Michael throw the green t-shirt away.
